 Not more than 10 minutes from Atlantic City and Ocean City, Carolines is a popular restaurant and nighttime hangout among locals and visitors alike. The barroom, centered around a large oval-shaped bar, boasts nautical decor with a strong local flavor. A small seating area with tables allows for a clear view of the large screen TV, while smaller TVs hang suspended around the rest of the dimly lighted room. Two pool tables and a jukebox add to the entertainment.
The dining room is cozy and comfortably furnished with a redbrick fireplace and large windows that allow for a view of the marshlands, which divide Atlantic City and the Downbeach area from the mainland.
During the summer months, patrons can enjoy cocktails, a variety of cuisine, and great views of the marshes while sitting at the Tiki bar or at any one of the surrounding tables on the large outside deck.
The kitchen serves a wide selection of pub fare and full course entrees, ranging from salads and sandwiches to fish, crab, steak, chicken and more.
