Sand Barrens offers a 27-hole golf facility suitable to please golfers of any skill level. Each nine of the 27 holes provides a minimum of 2,500 yards to a maximum of more than 3,500 yards. Each nine plays as a par 36. A round of 18 holes ranges in distance from 6,960—7,116, depending on the combination of the nine that are played. The fairways are generous - 50 to 60 yards in width – allowing for plenty of landing room. Both tee and fairway areas are seeded with top grade bent grass.
The Sand Barrens clubhouse offers scenic food and beverages in the Grill Room, and a 1000-square-foot covered deck that overlooks a lake on the 9th green of the North Course. The Royal Oaks Room is available for special social events. The Sand Barron Golf Academy provides a wide variety of instruction opportunities. Driving range also available. Rates range from $75-$85. Open dawn to dusk.
